Here is a statement one of my friends made on Facebook. I thought it was very interesting and thought provoking.

"The repeating motif in the Bible of the Barren Woman crying out in desperation has been running through my heart for years. I feel her realization that she must go to God and nowhere else, and her passionate pounding of His throne for the change in herself or in her situation is the key to revival in our life time. All the good stories in the Bible begin with a barren woman. IMHO, so does the next story of revival."
